Welcome to Design Moods, an art gallery and store featuring fine art greeting cards,
    by Nancy A.White of Arlington, Massachusetts. Design Moods features traditional
    photography, but several new mixed media note cards and gift items will soon be
    available.

    E-Mail is so convenient and quick, but isn't it nice to receive mail other than bills in
    your regular mail box? There's nothing like good old-fashioned snail mail cards for a
    personal touch.

    Her latest, and admittedly most fun assignment, was doing over 20 photographs
    and creative effects for the book, Vineyard Supernatural, written by Island author
    Holly Mascott Nadler and published by Down East Books. Recently released in
    October 2008, this spooky selection of stories tells about haunted happenings on
    the Island of Martha's Vineyard.

Warm and sunny greetings to you...
    Art, particularly taking
    photographs, is enjoyable and
    therapeutic for my sensitive soul
    and spirit. Each quiet walk in
    solitude with my camera presents
    new discoveries and surprises,
    creating new growth along the
    pathways of life.

    Nowadays, digital photography
    "point and shoot" is the norm.
    However, every one of my
    photographs is taken with my
    heavy and clunky Olympus 35mm
    manual camera. Nothing equals a
    sharp negative, especially for
    producing enlargements.
I do believe there is something for everyone here - men, women, children,
young, old and in-between. For those who appreciate and desire quality artistic
products created from the hand and the heart, the right card surely will be found
here. It is my hope that these images will speak to your own soul and spirit in a
truly personal and unique way.
